University volunteers from Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics guided children through financial education, while an online logo design contest for the school mascot, “Cloud Treasure,” drew over 5,000 participants.

This year marks the second “Financial Dream Week,” which fosters a harmonious growth of childhood and financial literacy, creating a pioneering model for integrated financial education. In addition to the annual “Financial Dream Week,” the school organizes practical activities during holidays, such as “Initial Career Experience” and “Cloud Treasure Ledger Exhibition,” enriching students’ financial thinking and inspiring their aspirations. The launch of “Cloud Treasure Bank,” the first children’s bank in Hangzhou, enables students to experience banking roles. The school also established an advisory team from Zhejiang University to enhance financial literacy education through specialized courses.

Since implementing financial literacy education, students have shown improvements in financial ethics, knowledge, and skills. Their internal motivation has been awakened, enhancing their social participation abilities and overall qualities, while enriching campus life. Concurrently, teachers have also advanced academically. The case study “Exploring the Charm of Money, Enhancing Financial Literacy” was recognized as an outstanding non-paper-based evaluation case at the provincial level, and the curriculum “Opening the Window to Finance” was established as a premium course for the 10th District Curriculum Development. Furthermore, three projects—“Constructing and Implementing School-Based Curriculum for Enhancing Financial Literacy,” “Playing with Linyun Coins: Designing a Diverse Evaluation System for Children’s Financial Literacy,” and “Exploring Venues: Designing Pathways for Financial Literacy Education in Young Pioneers”—have been designated as district-level projects for planning, evaluation, and Young Pioneers categories in 2023.
