Recently, at the “Adopt a Cow” A2 milk technology and product innovation launch conference in Hengshui, Hebei, the Kanghong Ranch was officially recognized as a child-friendly ranch by the Office of the Leading Group for Child-Friendly City Construction in Hengshui.
The narrative of “Adopt a Cow” originates from purchasing milk powder for children, which reflects the company’s inherent commitment to child welfare. In 2023, “Adopt a Cow” initiated its child-friendly enterprise development, investing in the establishment of facilities such as the “Pro-Cow Park” and the “Five Good Maze” at Kanghong Ranch. Annually, “Adopt a Cow” invites children from across the nation to participate in educational visits to the ranch. Through these experiences, children gain insights into the ranch’s natural environment and the production of high-quality milk. This educational journey not only enhances knowledge acquisition but also fosters a deeper understanding of nature and life among children.

In the same year, the “Adopt a Cow” Public Welfare Foundation was officially established.
In addition to caring for children in urban areas, “Adopt a Cow” has also extended its support to children in small towns and remote mountainous regions. In 2023, “Adopt a Cow” initiated a targeted educational assistance program, providing support from the Dabie Mountains in Anhui to the revolutionary old areas in Jiangxi, as well as to disadvantaged families near the ranch and factory. “Adopt a Cow” has consistently donated milk and living supplies to children, with a total donation exceeding 300,000 yuan in products to students at Hengshui High School, Gucheng County Special Education School, and Lishui Special Education School.

To provide children with better milk, “Adopt a Cow” has introduced A2β-casein children’s milk and A2β-casein organic children’s milk, both formulated to be gentle on the digestive system. In terms of packaging design, “Adopt a Cow” has developed 200ml containers with rounded edges that allow children to consume the milk in one sitting and are easy for small hands to grip. These initiatives reflect the company’s commitment to product quality and its dedication to supporting children’s growth.
During the conference, Cui Xiaoming, Vice Chair of the Women’s Federation of Hengshui, remarked that the development of child-friendly ranches represents an innovative endeavor in Hebei and across the country. She expressed hope that Kanghong Ranch would evolve into a comprehensive child-friendly space that encompasses “child participation, ecological sustainability, digital empowerment, and the integration of cultural elements.”
By leveraging its full industry chain advantages, “Adopt a Cow” aims for excellence in every stage, from sourcing to product delivery, ensuring that children can enjoy high-quality milk. Moving forward, “Adopt a Cow” will continue to enhance product quality and strive to offer safe and healthy products and services to more families.

Since 2023, I have served as a consultant for “Adopt a Cow” and other child-friendly enterprises, focusing on encouraging business involvement in the construction of child-friendly cities, particularly for children and parent-child families.
In April of this year, the Kanghong Ranch of “Adopt a Cow” was officially recognized as a child-friendly ranch construction unit by the Office of the Leading Group for Child-Friendly City Construction in Hengshui. This designation represents a significant milestone in our mission to develop child-friendly enterprises within the industry.
Looking ahead, “Adopt a Cow” plans to share best practices, summarizing and promoting the successful experiences of Kanghong Ranch to other regions. This initiative aims to create a replicable and scalable model for child-friendly ranch construction, providing valuable references for other cities and enterprises across the nation in their efforts to establish child-friendly environments.
In the strategies I am developing for “Adopt a Cow,” upcoming projects such as the child-friendly volunteer program and the red-blue integration educational curriculum are expected to further enhance the comprehensive development of child-friendly ranches. These initiatives will not only enrich the experiences of children and parent-child families but also bolster community engagement and social impact at the ranch.
The child-friendly volunteer program will engage more volunteers interested in child development in the ranch’s daily operations and activities, helping children gain a better understanding of ranch life while nurturing their sense of responsibility and social awareness. Meanwhile, the red-blue integration educational curriculum will stimulate children’s sense of responsibility, curiosity, and interest in learning through enjoyable methods, allowing them to experience the integration of practical knowledge with theoretical insights, as well as the blending of tradition and technology.
The execution of these initiatives will enhance the ranch’s brand value and social reputation, while also making significant contributions to the promotion of child-friendly city construction in Hengshui, positioning it as a model within the industry.
